To complete the quote, "Man is master by blood, woman is slave by birth." Which is perhaps the hard way of saying; "Submission is the perfection of woman, dominance that of man."
To paraphrase a saying: "Inside every female is a free woman seeking her life companion, and a slave girl seeking her master." While this is written in a fictional series it is based on non-fictional principles. I believe it is a statement of fact concerning human psychology. It derives from the experience of thousands of generations of our ancestors that lived within nature and not above it. This, or something like it, gave us a survival advantage. This, or something like it, drives your need to serve.
I'm not interested in your "free companion." In the vanilla world you can be anything you want to be. I am interested in the slave girl inside you. That part of you that yearns to serve. There is another saying in the series, "for a woman to be truly free, and truly a woman, she must submit to the touch of a man as a slave girl to her master." In our world it would be my touch that would be the touch of your Master, the touch that frees you.
