Ik beschrijf mezelf als:
I've always thought that describing one's self in these kinds of ads in a way that tries to stand out from others is like so many other things in life...tricky, but with a bit of thought and effort it can be done.
So with that, I decided the best way to give you a sense of who I am and what I'm about is to give you a list of ten adjectives that best describe me...
1. Trustworthy - I value other people's trust, and when I've earned it, I will never do anything to break it.
2. Understanding - I always try to see where the other is person is coming from. I want to understand as much as be understood.
3. Sincere - I always mean everything I say. It's genuine and I don't pay compliments to someone just because it might give me an advantage or because I think there's something in it for me.
4. Open-minded - I'm always open to new ideas and experiences. And if someone lives a different lifestyle than mine, I try not to be judgemental. I have a "live and let" live attitude towards others
5. Tenacious - I always keep going, despite the odds against me sometimes, to achieve something I really want
6. Sensitive - There's a time to talk, and a time to listen. And I think I'm pretty good at knowing which is which. When someone breaks down emotionally, what they need more than anything else is someone who'll listen, someone who won't judge, someone to show empathy and recognize and validate their feelings. When someone is in a state of mind like this, the last thing they need to hear are platitudes like "it's OK" or "everything's going to be alright."
7. Altruistic - I like doing random acts of kindness. And I can honestly say that I do them for no other reason than I like knowing that I've madelife just a little bit easier for someone, or brought them even a moments happiness.
These are all the positives of course. But I don't wear rose-coloured glasses and I know I have my faults just like everyone else. So with that in mind, these next two adjectives that describe me are...
8. Critical - not really of other people, but myself actually. There's a lot of truth to the old cliche that we're our own worst critics. My friends have told me I'm too hard on myself and I suppose they have a point and that I need to be more forgiving of myself. But this an area where I'm improving - and can actually see my progress!
9. Distractable - Or I guess you could say 'daydreamy'. Seriously - sometimes I get so lost in my thoughts that someone else has to bring me back from the clouds. But I'm disciplined enough to 'be there' when it really counts.
And of course last but not least...
10. Submissive - OK that last one should be pretty obvious, but my hope is that how I've described myself so far should give you a good idea as to my submissive nature and help you decide for yourself if I would make a good sub or not.
I will say this though...I know myself well enough to say I can find happiness and contentment being a sub to a dominant woman. I don't have any prior experience being someone's sub, and I know for some dommes that may be a strike against me, while others don't really care or may actually find it a plus (I hope to meet a domme who falls into the latter two camps!). I also know that strong-willed, assertive -- and sometimes even aggressive -- women give me butterflies in my stomach. And I like it when they know they make me a bit nervous...and even take delight in that fact! I promise to totally committ to a domme and understand that her needs are paramount and that we are definitely NOT equals in the relationship and that she is the one calling the shots
